War... a terrible thing. It tears everything apart. Innocent people getting torn from their families, homes get destroyed, but the worst part... death
Mass production of technology and further intelligence of the technology causes a world war between man and machine, yeah just like the movie Terminator, however this is no movie. The war lasted for 40 years, man eventually won however, only 100,000 humans survived. The survivors went into hiding just until they knew it was okay for them to return
I am Alex and I was born 15 years before the war ended. My Mom, Dad, a few others, and I were provided supplies from soldiers who were above ground. We were hidden underground underneath a whole lot of rubble. Every underground chamber was gifted 3 canines to protect them just in case a machine were to attack them. We were given a German Shepherd, a Doberman, and a Siberian Husky. I claimed the Husky and named her Twilight. The people who stayed with us are now all dead. There was George, a former soldier who was also an amputee. He went to the surface with his daughter Sarah to get food, a few days later it was reported to us by a soldier that they were dead. Timothy or Tim is what we called him went to check on the water supply. After a few minutes the water was flowing great however, he never came back.
It wasn't till a week ago when my Mom and Dad went missing. The soldiers had not returned and my Mom went to the surface. She returned with a whole lot of food. She said it was beautiful up on the surface but my dad refused to go up there because of the dangers that could still be up on the surface. He insisted she come back down but she said their still was more food to get, so she went back but never returned. I saw tears form in my Dads eyes for the first time, after 3 hours past without Mom. I went to sleep 2 hours later and while i was asleep my Dad went to the surface. I woke up the next day and neither of them were there. I'm worried because the food supply will be gone in a few days. I hope I will not end up like the others...
